I was drowning in spreadsheet formulas trying to predict when our hiking poles would stock out. Vantage caught a supply chain lag I missed and pre-drafted the supplier PO. It literally saved our Labor Day weekend inventory. Unbelievable tool.

Very solid for A/B testing on product pages. It suggested swapping our ingredients list to the top of the mobile view because of how users were scrolling, and conversions ticked up 2.4% in a week. Deducting one star because it sometimes gets a little too aggressive with email promo frequency if I don't reign it in.

I run a cafe and roast on the side; I do not have time to sit and tweak Meta ads. This thing just runs in the background. It paused two of my losing campaigns on a Tuesday and reallocated the budget to a video ad that was actually converting. It feels like having a media buyer on staff.

I am extremely protective of my brand voice. I honestly didn't think an AI could write our product descriptions without sounding like a robot. I let it rewrite three low-traffic pages as a test, and they started ranking on Google within three weeks. It perfectly matched our sarcastic, slightly dry tone.

As a developer, I usually hate "all-in-one" AI tools. But Vantage actually looks at the raw data. When it suggested a bundle discount for our mechanical keyboards and mousepads, it linked directly to the checkout drop-off metrics to justify the move. It argues its case with math. I respect that.

This is my first business and I was so overwhelmed. I woke up one morning and Vantage had left a message saying, "Hey, your bounce rate on the summer harness page is high, I think the sizing chart image is broken. Should I replace it with the backup?" Yes. A thousand times yes.

Car parts are a nightmare for SEO because the SKUs change constantly. Vantage automatically mapped our new inventory to the right search terms without me having to do the manual data entry. We actually started showing up in AI search summaries for "best brake pads for 2018 Tacoma."

I was paying an agency $2k a month just to run basic A/B tests. I fired them last week. Vantage does the exact same testing on our checkout flow, but it actually remembers our past seasonal trends and factors them into the current test.

It does what it says on the tin. The inventory forecasting is great, but the onboarding took me almost three hours because I had so many custom supplier variables. Once it’s set up, it’s a beast. Just block out an afternoon to get it calibrated.

Churn is the enemy of subscription boxes. Vantage noticed a pattern where customers canceling in month three had usually skipped month two. It automatically drafted a "surprise upgrade" email for users at that specific risk point. Churn dropped. I'm sold.

Gym equipment has massive shipping costs. I told Vantage our margin limits once. Weeks later, it flagged a TikTok ad campaign that was getting a ton of clicks but driving negative ROI because of the shipping zones those clicks were coming from. It killed the ad before we bled cash.

I love the website tweaking feature, but I wish it gave me a visual preview before asking for approval. That said, it noticed people were searching for "fall scents" on our site and automatically built a collection page for it. Very clever.

Verdict

The memory is the product. Everything else is what the memory lets it do.

Most ecommerce AI tools are a text box you feed context into, every time, and forget you the moment you close the tab. Melbora is built the other way round. Your entire store is its context, and the tools for search, pages, ads, video, testing and supply are plugged into that one brain. Reviewers rate the memory, the proactivity and the supply forecasting highest, and the lower scores cluster around setup time and very large catalogs.

What reviewers liked

  • One memory for the whole business. A margin limit, a shipping rule or a strategy mentioned once in chat is still applied months later without being repeated.
  • It works unprompted. Reorder drafts, paused ads, collection pages and broken-image fixes show up in the approval queue on their own, with the reasoning attached.
  • It shows its work. Reviewers describe suggestions linked to the checkout, attribution or inventory numbers that justify them.
  • Supply forecasting is the quiet standout. Several reviewers credit it with catching a stock-out or a supplier delay before they saw it themselves.
  • Brand voice holds up. Owners protective of a dry, luxury or empathetic tone report the copy matched it and ranked on Google and in AI search.

Where it fell short

  • Very large variant catalogs are a weak spot. One owner with thousands of yarn variations saw it confuse a reorder threshold, and rates it better for stores under a few hundred SKUs.
  • Setup takes real time when there are many custom supplier variables. One reviewer needed almost three hours before it was calibrated.
  • Site changes arrive as an approval request without a visual preview, which one reviewer wants before saying yes.
  • It can lean hard on email promo frequency unless you rein it in, and one WooCommerce sync needed support to sort out variable pricing.

What it is

One brain, many hands.

Melbora is an AI cofounder for an ecommerce business. It builds a growing knowledge of everything in your store and then acts on it. The memory is the core, and each tool below is connected to that memory, so a decision made in one place carries into every other. You talk to it the way you would talk to a cofounder, and it takes care of the grindy daily work that owners put off or never learned to do.

Two lines it does not cross. It never touches the physical side of the business, and nothing publishes or spends without your approval.

  • Google and AI search

Keeps pages, titles and descriptions current for Google, and written the way people ask ChatGPT and other assistants.

  • Website building

Drafts product pages, landing pages and storefront fixes in your existing design, then puts them in the queue.

  • A/B testing

Runs sized experiments on pages and checkout, calls the result honestly, and rolls out the winner.

  • Marketing video

Builds product clips and creator-style footage from your catalog for ads and social.

  • Social media ads

Writes, launches and rebalances campaigns daily, moving budget toward what converts.

  • Product supply

Watches stock against sales velocity and lead times, and drafts reorders before you run out.

  • Pricing and trends

Spots rising demand and suggests bundles, pages and price moves while the wave is still building.

  • Support drafts

Drafts replies to customers in your voice. You send them.

FAQ

The questions people ask before they read the reviews.

Where did the reviews come from?

From real customer feedback gathered during stage 1 of our beta testing. Beta members told us what Melbora did for their stores and where it fell short, and their reviews are published here with their first name, last initial and store. As later beta stages open, their reviews will be added too.

Who wrote these reviews?

Store owners in stage 1 of the Melbora beta. The words in each review are the reviewer's own. Earlier reviews use our former name, Vantage Connections. The area tags are added by us so the filters and scorecard work.

Is this site run by Melbora?

Yes. It is operated by Melbora and exists to explain, honestly, what the product does well and where it is still catching up.

What makes Melbora different from an AI app on my store?

Its context window is your entire business. An app forgets you between tasks and waits to be prompted. Melbora keeps one memory across everything, acts on its own, and asks for approval at the point where approval matters.

Can it publish or spend money without me?

No. Every page, price, ad and dollar waits in one queue until you approve it.

Does it hallucinate?

It is grounded in your real catalog, prices, history and decisions, which is why reviewers report it not inventing products or numbers. When it is unsure it says so and asks.

Which platforms work best right now?

Stage 1 reviewers ran Melbora on Shopify and WooCommerce. One WooCommerce owner hit a sync hiccup with variable pricing at setup, which support resolved. The place reviewers marked it down most was very large variant catalogs, in the thousands of SKUs.

What does it cost?

Nothing during the beta. Waitlist position decides access order.

How do I add my own review?

If you are in the beta, email us. Reviews from each beta stage are added here as they arrive.
